This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Concentrate on sales opportunities related to data.
• Cultivate and oversee a growing portfolio of business within the designated region.
• Foster both business and technical relationships.
• Assist in defining and identifying key opportunities, markets, contract vehicles, and solutions.
• Build strong business and technical relationships by understanding the customer's mission and environment.
• Enhance revenue and market share within the assigned region.
• Create and implement a comprehensive account/territory strategy.
• Develop and communicate compelling value propositions surrounding Ookla data services.
• Accelerate the adoption of services by customers.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Facilitate negotiations for contracts.
• Establish long-term strategic partnerships with key accounts.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Moderate travel required for in-person meetings with clients.
• Propel product innovation through a comprehensive understanding of customer and industry trends and needs.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in enterprise-level technology sales or business development.
• Proficiency in both German and English is essential.
• Experience in selling emerging products/services into untapped markets is highly preferred.
• Understanding of internet, cellular, and broadband technologies and infrastructure.
• Self-driven with a proven track record of urgency and follow-through.
• Demonstrated success in surpassing sales targets using a consultative and solutions-oriented approach is necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Knowledge and expertise in Ookla’s product offerings, including licensing, data, awards, and advertising products, or experience with similar offerings.
• Willingness to travel frequently to engage with prospective and existing clients, as well as attend Ookla corporate and team events.
• Experience in global business is a plus, particularly in defining and expanding new markets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; a Master’s degree or education in international business is advantageous.
