This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Meet sales targets for the designated region.
• Conduct regional sales calls and training sessions with local distributors and representatives.
• Formulate sales and profitability strategies tailored to specific projects and customers.
• Educate distributors, representatives, contractors, and customers on product applications.
• Collaborate and communicate with management and Regional Sales Manager peers regarding requirements for cross-region project sales activities.
• Visit customer sites and construction locations to assess project progress and customer satisfaction.
• Identify new customers, explore new applications, and pursue follow-up sales leads.
• Provide regional updates on target projects, assessing representative/distributor effectiveness, and maintaining an updated market outlook for forecasting needs and contract management.
• Investigate product complaints and help customers and distributors find effective solutions to sales and service issues.
• Stay informed about competitive activities, including product lines, pricing, services, and market penetration, and report findings to management.
• Take part in trade shows.
• Maintain a record of sales leads and opportunities in the CRM system.
• Oversee contract negotiations for the Business Unit and manage customer NDAs within the assigned region.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or any equivalent technical degree from a university.
• A minimum of 10 years of sales management experience in the Oil and Gas sector.
• Experience in managing independent representatives and distributors.
• Ability to work independently from a home-based office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including the capability to deliver group presentations in a seminar setting.
• Willingness to undertake significant domestic travel.
• Proficient in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Possession of a valid US driver's license and a clean driving record.
