Sales Director – Animal Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead and develop the regional field sales team.

• Define goals and objectives for regional support positions.

• Collaborate with Territory Managers (TMs) to assess sales requirements.

• Maintain an updated understanding of the market landscape and competitive dynamics.

• Engage with key clients and/or buying groups to guarantee customer satisfaction.

• Identify potential future opportunities.

• Create and implement a systematic approach for collecting, monitoring, and sharing competitive intelligence from the field.

• Address daily customer complaints and service concerns.

• Formulate annual and monthly sales budgets.

• Oversee the performance of the field sales team.

• Respond to all risks and opportunities that arise.

• Evaluate results against assigned key vendor budgets.

• Foster a collaborative team atmosphere.

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies and priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, pharmacy, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.

• A master's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in field sales, territory management, or a related field is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in a management role is necessary.

• Exceptional presentation skills and a proven ability to sell are essential.

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
