
Sales Development Representative – Virtual Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Create and develop targeted lead lists utilizing Apollo and various other lead generation platforms.
• Research and pinpoint key decision-makers within potential shipping companies across sectors such as steel, construction, manufacturing, and heavy equipment.
• Engage in outbound cold calls to prospective shipping clients.
• Follow up with freight leads to ensure ongoing pipeline activity.
• Qualify leads and arrange appointments with the senior sales team to facilitate deal closures.
• Diligently update and maintain CRM systems with customer data, call notes, and follow-up actions.
• Achieve daily and weekly outreach objectives.
• Work collaboratively with the team to enhance scripts, messaging, and targeting strategies.
• Proficient in professional English — both written and spoken (mandatory).
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in making outbound sales calls.
• Prior experience in logistics, trucking, freight brokerage, or transportation is highly desirable.
• Familiar with CRM systems (Close CRM, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Salesforce, or similar).
• Comfortable using lead generation tools like Apollo.
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and reliable — capable of working independently in a remote setting.
• Stable internet connection and a professional home office environment.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, Central Standard Time (CST), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
