This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Perform outbound prospecting via cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-ups.
• Identify and engage potential clients interested in sustainability, engineering, ESG, or clean energy solutions.
• Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for the sales team.
• Research prospective companies, sustainability initiatives, and industry trends to tailor outreach efforts.
• Maintain precise CRM records and track pipeline activity.
• Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to enhance outreach strategies and messaging.
• Consistently meet or surpass activity and meeting-booked KPIs.
• Build robust relationships with prospective clients in sustainability-focused industries.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or outbound B2B sales.
• Previous experience in sustainable engineering, renewable energy, ESG, environmental consulting, sustainability, clean tech, utilities, or related fields is essential.
• Strong grasp of sustainability-related business challenges and ESG initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in outbound prospecting and cold outreach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Strong research, organizational, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work setup.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience targeting enterprise or commercial clients.
• Knowledge of carbon reduction strategies, energy efficiency, sustainability reporting, or ESG frameworks.
• Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Outreach, or similar prospecting tools.
• Exposure to sustainability markets in the UK, EU, US, or internationally.
