This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads.
• Identify and engage with decision-makers in both residential and commercial solar markets.
• Assess inbound and outbound leads based on established criteria and sales readiness.
• Arrange discovery calls and demonstrations for Account Executives.
• Maintain precise records of all activities and pipeline within CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Work closely with marketing and sales teams to enhance outreach strategies.
• Keep informed about trends, incentives, and competitive offerings in the solar industry.
• 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative, BDR, or outbound sales position.
• Demonstrated experience in the solar sector or related fields (renewable energy, utilities, HVAC, construction, etc.).
• Strong background in cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline development.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to handle objections effectively.
• Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
• Highly self-motivated with a proven ability to work remotely and consistently achieve targets.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
