This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Generate and qualify leads for residential solar by engaging in high-volume outbound prospecting, which includes phone calls, email outreach, and SMS communication.
• Interact with potential customers to introduce residential solar solutions, evaluate their initial interest, and assess qualification based on established criteria such as homeownership, energy usage, and eligibility factors.
• Arrange appointments for Solar Account Managers with qualified leads, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and accurately recorded.
• Implement structured follow-up strategies to confirm appointments, enhance show rates, and maintain consistent multi-touch engagement with prospective customers.
• Work closely with Solar Account Managers to guarantee a high-quality handoff of appointments and alignment regarding prospect expectations.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or a minimum of 1 year of prior experience in sales, customer service, call center, or lead generation roles is preferred.
• Comfortable in a high-volume outbound calling environment with performance expectations based on activity.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals.
• Capable of managing multiple communication channels, including outbound calls, email, and SMS.
• Proficient in handling objections, addressing customer concerns, and maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook and Excel) and CRM platforms.
• An interest in renewable energy and sustainability is preferred.
• Possess a highly entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to excel in a performance-driven role.
