
Sales Development Representative – SaaS, Sustainability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take charge of the Top-of-Funnel: Your primary objective is to seek out, identify, and qualify high-potential leads (Outbound) while also managing incoming leads from Marketing (Inbound).
• Become a Prospecting Specialist: You will actively engage with target decision-makers through a multi-channel strategy, utilizing emails, phone calls, video messaging, and LinkedIn.
• Excel in the 'First Conversation': You will serve as the initial human touchpoint for prospective customers, conducting high-level qualification calls to assess their sustainability challenges, timelines, and decision-making processes.
• Schedule Qualified Meetings: Your main focus will be to arrange high-quality discovery calls and product demonstrations for our Account Executives, with your success measured by the number of qualified opportunities you create.
• Collaborate with your Account Executive: You will work closely within a 'pod' alongside one or two Account Executives, strategizing on how to penetrate key target accounts and develop a strong sales pipeline.
• Act as the 'Ears on the Ground': You will collect vital market feedback and customer insights, relaying this information to the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to enhance our messaging and strategies.
• Ensure Impeccable Data Hygiene: You will diligently track all activities and notes in our CRM, facilitating a smooth and informed transition of qualified leads to the sales team.
• Professional fluency in both German and English (C1+) is crucial for effective communication with decision-makers across Europe.
• Resilience and Motivation: You are highly driven and view rejection as an opportunity for growth rather than an obstacle. You possess a proactive 'hunter' mentality and are comfortable making phone calls.
• Strong Curiosity and Learning Ability: You embody a 'Day 1' mentality, genuinely enjoying the process of learning, absorbing feedback, and consistently seeking to enhance your skills.
• Initial Commercial Experience: You have had exposure to a client-facing or commercial role, whether through an internship or job in sales, business development, customer success, high-end retail, or competitive hospitality.
• Intellectual Capacity: You can quickly understand complex subjects (such as our SaaS platform and EU packaging regulations) and articulate them in simple and clear terms.
• A True Passion for Our Mission: You possess a genuine interest in sustainability, climate technology, and aiding global brands in making a tangible impact.
• CRM Experience: You have practical, daily experience working with a modern CRM (such as HubSpot or Salesforce) for managing leads, tracking activities, and building pipelines.
• Experience in B2B SaaS: You have direct experience and a thorough understanding of the B2B SaaS sales process.
