Sales Development Representative, Enterprise SaaS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and identify potential leads utilizing Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other demand generation tools through various channels, such as online research, social media, and industry events.

• Reach out to and qualify potential customers with 40-50 phone calls per day, alongside executing email campaigns with 30 emails daily.

• Arrange appointments and follow up on leads.

• Monitor progress towards achieving sales targets.

• Maintain and update the lead database in Salesforce, ensuring all information is accurate and current.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement lead generation campaigns.

• Attend trade shows and industry events as needed.

• Support the sales team in organizing and coordinating product demonstrations and presentations for sales calls and events.

• Prepare and tailor sales materials and presentations to meet specific client requirements.

• Provide administrative assistance to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing sales documentation.

• Track and follow up on sales leads, ensuring prompt and effective communication.

• Maintain precise and current records of all sales activities and interactions in the CRM system.

• Deliver regular reports on lead generation and qualification metrics.

• Assist the presales team in arranging and coordinating product demonstrations and presentations for client meetings and marketing events.

• Aid the team in RFX proposal preparation, market research, and data analysis.

• Facilitate communication among stakeholders across multiple time zones.

• Coordinate meetings and demonstrations for stakeholders in various time zones.

• Collect feedback from the presales and sales teams regarding lead quality and the effectiveness of the qualification process, using this input to enhance prospecting and qualification strategies.

• Support daily operational tasks, including organizing cross-functional meetings, tracking KPIs, and updating reports.

• Assist with marketing activities based on business needs, including the creation and coordination of marketing materials, social media posts, white papers, presentations, and other content to enhance brand visibility and sales outreach efforts.

• Collaborate with Finance on travel budgets, team spending tracking, and ad hoc reporting.

• Identify process enhancements to streamline workflows and boost efficiency across the team.

• Stay informed about industry trends.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Over 1 year of experience in sales support, lead generation, or a similar position.

• Strong research and analytical capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• A keen desire to learn and grow within the sales domain.

• Must have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.

• Willingness to travel for business up to 20%.

• Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening meetings, calls, and participation in demonstrations as necessary.

• **Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience within the enterprise software SaaS sector, with familiarity in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) solutions, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions preferred.

• Knowledge of Design to Pay solutions.

• Experience utilizing LinkedIn and Salesforce lead generation tools and techniques.

• Understanding of the manufacturing and/or procurement industry.

• Experience collaborating with international and cross-functional teams.
