• Conduct high-volume, high-quality outbound prospecting targeting collections agencies, debt buyers, and legal collections firms through phone, email, and LinkedIn.
• Quickly engage with inbound leads generated from events, conferences, and demand generation campaigns with urgency and focus.
• Assess prospects against our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and provide senior sellers with comprehensive opportunity details — beyond just a name and a calendar link.
• Understand and take ownership of the Overtime value proposition; communicate it effectively in cold conversations without relying on scripts.
• Utilize sequencing and sales tools for organization and enhanced outreach — prioritize your voice over your inbox.
• Keep accurate and organized activity and pipeline data within the CRM.
• Represent Overtime at industry events and conferences as needed.
• Collaborate with the Head of Sales to refine messaging, enhance target lists, and boost conversion rates at every stage of the sales funnel.
• 1–3 years of experience as an outbound SDR, BDR, or in inside sales — you've successfully managed a quota.
• Comfortable and confident making phone calls; you embrace cold calling rather than avoid it.
• Strong verbal communication skills — you can simplify complex products and handle objections independently.
• A strong desire to learn and be coached is valued more than prior experience; we prioritize drive and adaptability over industry background.
• Organized and accountable — you track your metrics and take responsibility for your results.
• Familiar with outbound sales tools (sequencers, CRM, dialers) and use them to enhance efficiency, not as a means to evade work.
• A genuine interest in AI and its impact on business processes.
• Preferred: experience selling in collections, accounts receivable management (ARM), fintech, or regulated industries.
