This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Conduct research to pinpoint high-potential prospects within the legal sector, aiming to establish a strong outbound pipeline.
• Implement multi-channel outreach tactics, such as cold calling, tailored emailing, and networking on LinkedIn.
• Perform discovery calls to grasp prospect challenges and qualify leads according to their specific needs and budget.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities, ensuring a smooth handoff process.
• Keep detailed records in the CRM to monitor activity, conversion rates, and insights related to the territory.
• Remain updated on legal industry trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscapes to serve as a subject matter expert.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an SDR or in a related business development position.
• Direct experience in the LegalTech sector or selling professional services to law firms is essential.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing monthly quotas for qualified meetings and pipeline generation.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior partners and General Counsel.
• Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to handle a high volume of outreach while maintaining quality.
• Familiarity with modern sales technology stacks (Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
• A background in law or possession of a JD degree is a notable advantage.
• Experience in selling SaaS solutions specifically targeted at the "Big Law" market.
