This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Identify and engage independent retailers to join the Instacart Marketplace.

• Opportunity to oversee the complete sales cycle for smaller opportunities.

• Utilize cold calls and emails to discover new prospects, deliver value, and build meaningful relationships with local retailers.

• Excellent problem-solving, solution mapping, and negotiation abilities.

• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize an effective go-to-market strategy.

• Work autonomously while also collaborating with the team to meet both individual and collective goals.

• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes.

• A keen desire to learn and advance in the sales field.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage retailers and communicate Instacart’s value proposition.

• Create sales collateral, case studies, and tailored ‘stories’ to illustrate the benefits of Instacart’s platform to independent retailers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a sales or business development position.

• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a knack for building rapport and establishing enduring relationships.

• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing sales targets and KPIs.

• Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.

• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Strong understanding of the grocery industry, including market trends and operational challenges (preferred).

• Experience in selling SaaS solutions to enhance retailer success (preferred).

• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (preferred).
