This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Proactively identify and research potential clients through outbound strategies, including cold calling, emailing, and engaging on LinkedIn to spark interest and create momentum with prospects.
• Responsively engage with inbound leads generated by marketing initiatives and events, qualifying and converting them into sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Key Account Managers.
• Reach out to key decision-makers within a targeted group of medium and large businesses in Financial Services, generating interest in FICO solutions, particularly within the DACH region.
• Create new business opportunities by prospecting within the Financial Services sector in the designated DACH region.
• Nurture a robust pipeline by following up, qualifying, and converting marketing leads into sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Key Account Managers.
• Keep Salesforce updated with precise lead and customer information, ensuring that all interactions are logged effectively and efficiently.
• Plan and conduct research to engage prospects through tailored communications and follow-ups, gaining insights into customer pain points to align FICO solutions with their requirements.
• Clearly articulate FICO's platform value proposition, demonstrating a consultative approach and the ability to address objections with confidence.
• Acquire in-depth solution knowledge and stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights to prospects.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers to formulate strategies for accounts and territories, focusing on areas not currently reached by KAMs.
• Qualify leads based on FICO's Platform Capabilities to ensure a targeted and high-quality pipeline.
• Partner with the Field Marketing team to enhance messaging and lead generation strategies, offering feedback on campaign performance and identifying areas for improvement in the overall sales development program.
• Demonstrate resilience and self-motivation to excel in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
• Proficient in German with exceptional communication skills.
• Background in a results-driven or sales-focused environment.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a high-performing team.
• Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Educated to degree level or possess equivalent experience in a commercial setting.
• Experience in a technology company or in selling/prospecting within the technology sector.
• Understanding of broad business dynamics and the operational structures of large, complex organizations.
• Strong ability to rapidly build relationships via phone, email, and social media platforms.
• Capacity to think strategically and critically, utilizing data in decision-making processes.
• Detail-oriented, motivated self-starter who excels in complex and challenging environments within a rapidly changing business landscape.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.
• Background in Inside Sales, Sales Development, or Business Development is advantageous.
• Experience working in the DACH region and within the financial services industry is a plus.
