
Sales Development Representative – Fintech Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Identify and evaluate potential leads for LeafLink’s banking services, with a focus on licensed cannabis wholesale and retail operators.
• Perform research and outreach activities to spark interest in LeafLink’s financial products, which include cannabis-focused fintech solutions, retail operations software, and inventory management tools.
• Assist in cross-selling initiatives by informing potential clients about additional products such as cash flow management and operations software, while identifying opportunities to broaden service offerings.
• Collaborate with the sales team to maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective outreach and prompt follow-up with leads.
• Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, or HubSpot to monitor prospects, manage communications, and create reports.
• Execute high-volume outbound calls, emails, and social media messaging to connect with prospects and arrange meetings for the sales team.
• Work closely with Account Executives and other internal teams to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads while providing insights into customer needs and market trends.
• Regularly meet or surpass key performance metrics such as lead generation goals, call volumes, and conversion rates.
• 1+ year of experience in a sales development or lead generation position, ideally within a SaaS, fintech, or cannabis-related organization.
• Proven ability to prospect and qualify leads through various channels (calls, emails, social media, etc.).
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, or HubSpot is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Capability to quickly learn and articulate LeafLink’s product offerings and value propositions.
• Self-motivated individual with a passion for the cannabis industry and an understanding of its distinctive challenges.
• Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in banking or financial services catering to cannabis businesses is a plus.
• Competitive compensation ranging from $800 to $1000 per month, based on experience level.
