This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• This is an outbound, phone-driven media sales position where you will establish connections with advertisers throughout the network and convert them into bookings, utilizing provided prospect lists via HubSpot.
• You will engage with two primary audiences: brokers, fintech companies, and trading-technology firms directly, as well as PR and marketing agencies that manage media for various clients, which is a key growth area.
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will ensure that closed business is transitioned smoothly to account management.
• You will work with provided prospect lists and utilize directory data in HubSpot, maintaining accurate records and ensuring every contact has a clearly defined next step.
• Consistent outbound calls will be made to decision-makers in marketing and partnerships at brokers and fintechs, as well as to media buyers at agencies.
• You will conduct discovery calls, identify the most relevant network brand for each prospect, and deliver clear proposals and insertion orders.
• Building and managing the PR and marketing agency channel will be a top priority for you.
• You will oversee the pipeline until you secure a verbal agreement, ensuring that closed deals are handed off cleanly to account management.
• Compliance with outbound calling regulations must be adhered to at all times.
• A minimum of three years of experience in B2B outbound sales or as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), preferably within financial services, forex or CFD, fintech, or B2B SaaS.
• Proficient in clear, professional spoken English that is easily understood by decision-makers from the UK, Europe, and the Gulf region.
• A consultative and non-scripted communication style is essential; building rapport rather than utilizing hard-sell techniques is the most critical fit for our team.
• Must be a confident user of HubSpot, as the entire sales pipeline and follow-up processes are managed through this platform.
• You will need to provide your own equipment and infrastructure, including a suitable computer, personal dialer or VoIP softphone with calling software, a reliable internet connection with a backup, a professional headset, and a quiet workspace.
• Ability to consistently work during UK business hours is required.
• You should be comfortable making cold calls and navigating gatekeepers, demonstrating self-management skills with minimal oversight.
