This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Versapay during the customer value journey. Assess contacted customers for ongoing engagement with our sales teams, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the problems we address and their readiness to tackle these challenges.

• Actively seek out new potential customers via phone, email, and social media platforms, aiming to establish contact and generate interest in Versapay, with the objective of scheduling more in-depth discovery calls for the sales team.

• Join a team committed to your future. We offer training and collaborate with you to develop your career pathway. You will gain exposure to various teams within the organization, including but not limited to Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Enablement, and Marketing.

• By researching accounts, contacts, and key players, you will not only generate and enhance buying interest through lead nurturing, emails, and the creation of collateral/assets to share, but also effectively manage and overcome objections.

• Keep track of your achievements in Salesforce Lightning CRM and ensure that marketing automation data is accurate and up to date.

• Learn, educate others, and progress within the sales organization by building a pipeline and gaining insights into all aspects of the sales cycle, collaborating to enhance lead quality, sharing best practices, and refining your skills.

• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to support lead generation initiatives from pre-program planning to data entry, as well as post-follow-up and tracking. When possible, assist with tradeshow/event logistics and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a BDR/SDR role or a comparable sales position.

• You have a demonstrated history of building an outbound pipeline from the ground up. Cold calls, cold emails, social selling, and innovative prospecting come naturally to you.

• You're adept at engaging multiple stakeholders across an account simultaneously, mapping buying committees, and cultivating champions at every level of an organization.

• You have consistently achieved or surpassed outbound-specific metrics, maintaining a quota attainment of 90% or higher. Whether it involves meetings scheduled, pipeline created, or sequences initiated, you have the numbers to support your success.

• You possess natural curiosity and confidence. You ask insightful questions, listen attentively, and tailor your messages to various personas, from CFOs to Heads of Procurement.

• You have strong business acumen and recognize that each prospect faces unique challenges. You listen, analyze, and connect the dots between their pain points and our solutions.

• You exude positive energy that attracts others, with excellent written and verbal communication skills that cut through the clutter in a crowded inbox or during cold calls.

• You have a proactive mindset. You don’t wait for inbound leads; you actively seek out the pipeline yourself.

• You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and can adapt your strategy without losing momentum.

• You are collaborative and open to coaching. You will work closely with AEs on account and territory planning and elevate the performance of the SDRs around you.

• You are proficient with sales tools like Gong, Salesforce, or Sales Navigator and know how to create and optimize sequences that convert effectively.

• Bonus: Experience selling to the office of the CFO is a significant advantage. You understand the compliance considerations, buying cycles, and stakeholder complexities involved in this area.
