This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• In the role of Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will serve as the initial point of contact for prospects assessing STARLIMS.
• Your main responsibility is to swiftly respond to incoming leads (target response time: under 5 minutes) through phone and email, determining if there is a genuine business requirement for LIMS, and securing high-quality meetings for our Account Executives.
• This position is characterized by high activity levels and significant learning opportunities, as you will engage with lab managers, quality leaders, IT stakeholders, and other technical decision-makers.
• Quickly address leads via phone and email while assisting prospects in the initial phases of their evaluation process.
• Qualify incoming leads and source outbound leads by researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest.
• Schedule meetings for our sales team and facilitate a seamless transition of prospects and customers.
• Achieve and surpass monthly quotas to meet pipeline objectives and submit pipeline commitments weekly.
• Comprehend the STARLIMS value proposition, our market, industry, and buyer personas to enhance customer communications.
• Collect and convey customer requirements from both technical and non-technical buyers.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including call notes, next steps, and customer communications, ensuring sales representatives are prepared for subsequent meetings.
• Provide insights to sales and marketing leadership, including customer priorities, challenges, and needs.
• Utilize social media to engage with prospects and facilitate deal progression.
• Must be based in the United States.
• 1-2 years of experience in lead qualification, SDR, or sales.
• A strong passion for sales and a desire to grow within the role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with customers and prospects.
• A dedicated worker willing to achieve a high volume of daily tasks while maintaining a positive and energetic demeanor.
• An enthusiastic and self-motivated approach.
• Native proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Proficient in social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, as well as AI tools.
• Technical aptitude and a curiosity for innovation.
• A 4-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
