This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• You create an outbound pipeline from the ground up by prospecting procurement leaders, municipal decision-makers, and school board administrators throughout Ontario using targeted research and personalized bilingual outreach.
• You view procurement events as opportunities for pipeline growth, devising and implementing strategies for digital and virtual events hosted by Edilex and other organizations.
• You continuously refine messaging by sharing insights on what resonates and what does not directly with marketing, ensuring Edilex's positioning in Ontario becomes sharper over time.
• You conduct discovery calls that delve deeper, gaining an understanding of how public sector organizations are structured, identifying their procurement challenges, and determining what makes a lead genuinely valuable for the Account Executive team.
• Account Executives receive a well-documented overview of the prospect’s interests, their current processes, and the reasons why Edilex is a suitable match.
• You represent Edilex with credibility in every discussion, demonstrating a solid understanding of the product, the Legalflo and Edilexpert solutions, security certifications, and the issues surrounding manual procurement drafting, enabling you to engage intelligently with skeptical procurement officers.
• You collaborate closely with marketing to test and enhance outbound messaging, ensuring that Edilex's communications in Ontario are rooted in actual prospect conversations rather than mere assumptions.
• Your pipeline is well-organized, and your data is accurate—Salesforce reflects the true state of affairs, your activity metrics narrate a coherent story, and you research accounts thoroughly before conducting outreach.
• You identify patterns early, proposing hypotheses and adjustments when outreach is not converting or a segment is unresponsive, rather than merely highlighting the issue.
• 1-3 years of outbound experience in a B2G or B2B setting—you have built a pipeline from scratch rather than just managing inbound leads. You know how to research accounts, craft personalized outreach, and actively follow up.
• Strong English communication skills—you can compose clear prospecting emails and confidently conduct discovery conversations in English.
• Business curiosity—you can learn about how public-sector buyers operate, ask insightful questions, and recognize when an opportunity is suitable for handing off to an Account Executive.
• Strong business acumen—you can quickly evaluate an organization’s structure, navigate various stakeholders, and identify who is responsible for the problems that Edilex addresses.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and discipline in SDR activities—you have hands-on experience logging calls and emails, tracking follow-ups, documenting prospect contexts, and maintaining accurate account, activity, and meeting-booking data.
• Authorization to work in Canada—we are not able to sponsor work visas at this moment.
• Bilingual fluency in English and French—you communicate with equal confidence in both languages, both in writing and during live calls with Ontario’s public sector contacts.
• Familiarity with procurement or legal technology—you can discuss the challenges of manual drafting or RFP processes because you have experienced them firsthand.
• Health insurance
• Professional development opportunities
• Flexible working hours
