• The India SDR Team Lead serves as a Player-Coach, primarily focused on generating pipeline and qualifying sales opportunities (QSOs) throughout the India & SAARC region.
• This position entails coaching and developing a small team of SDRs while also contributing directly to opportunity generation through proactive outbound prospecting aimed at acquiring new logos and effectively qualifying inbound leads from Digital, Web, Events, and Partner-driven initiatives.
• This role is vital for accelerating early-stage pipeline growth in the region by blending hands-on sales development execution with frontline team leadership.
• The ideal candidate will establish and implement robust outbound cadences, uphold high standards for lead follow-up and qualification, and collaborate closely with Account Executives, Sales & Marketing Leadership, and channel stakeholders to optimize the conversion of leads into high-quality sales opportunities.
• Alongside mentoring and developing the team, the SDR Team Lead will enhance regional Go To Market execution by refining lead management practices, supporting targeted campaigns and strategic outreach, and identifying opportunities for process and systems improvements to boost overall sales development performance.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Sales Development Role.
• Familiarity with the IT channel, preferably in a channel-based organization.
• Proven track record in high-volume outbound, telephone-based lead generation and sales.
• Experience with technical products in the high-tech sector.
• Process-oriented approach to lead management.
• Ability to instill a sense of urgency among prospects.
