This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Play a pivotal role in establishing the Sales Development function from the ground up by developing processes, documenting best practices, and crafting the systems and playbooks that future SDRs will utilize.
• Initiate targeted outbound prospecting efforts within school districts, customizing messaging according to roles (Directors of Special Education, lead school psychologists, Pupil Personnel Services leaders) and district structures to foster high-value discussions.
• Quickly address inbound leads from the website, free trial registrations, webinars, and events (including national and state conferences such as NASP) with agility and accuracy, converting interest into qualified meetings and early-stage opportunities.
• Carry out concise discovery sessions to validate suitability, identify pain points, and enhance meeting quality prior to passing opportunities to Senior Sales Directors (SSD).
• Collaborate with SSDs to aid in district-level account development by researching high-priority districts, pinpointing key stakeholders, and coordinating multi-threaded outreach to expedite deal progression.
• Implement follow-ups for marketing campaigns and event-related outreach, maximizing engagement before and after events to transform campaign activities into tangible pipelines.
• Ensure CRM excellence by documenting interactions, qualification details, and account insights to enhance forecasting accuracy and support long-cycle district sales.
• Experiment with new messaging, cadences, and prospecting strategies to continuously improve outreach effectiveness and contribute to a scalable, repeatable SDR playbook.
• Provide field insights to Sales and Marketing to refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), improve outreach strategies, and boost conversion rates throughout the sales funnel.
• 0–3 years of experience in a Sales Development or Business Development role, preferably within the B2B SaaS or EdTech sectors.
• Strong familiarity with special education assessment workflows and SPED departments, including collaboration with school psychologists, speech language pathologists, and occupational therapists.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Experience prospecting in multi-stakeholder environments such as school districts, healthcare systems, or other complex organizations.
• Proficiency in using CRM and sales engagement tools, ideally Apollo and Salesforce.
• Experience managing both inbound and outbound sales development processes.
• Background in conducting discovery with education or clinical leaders to qualify opportunities and identify pain points.
• Experience working with or selling to K-12 school districts or within EdTech environments.
