• Engage with and qualify outbound leads and inquiries.
• Identify new sales prospects and initiate contact to schedule appointments for Account Executives.
• Effectively articulate Remote's value propositions to potential clients while understanding their needs to assess compatibility.
• Provide assistance to the Account Executive team as required.
• Take responsibility for educating and nurturing prospects until they can be transitioned to the sales teams.
• Develop target prospect lists and penetrate significant accounts.
• Conduct cold calls to prospects generated from various external sources.
• Recognize key decision-makers, research and gather business requirements, and present tailored solutions to initiate the sales cycle.
• Proven track record in business development through effective use of essential sales tools (Familiarity with Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Chorus is advantageous).
• Experience as an SDR in a B2B SaaS technology environment.
• Skilled negotiator, able to persuasively promote and sell ideas.
• Outstanding communication abilities, both verbal and written, along with excellent listening skills and a positive, energetic phone demeanor.
• Capable of strategic and tactical thinking. Maintains a positive attitude despite criticism, rejection, or setbacks.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency in achieving goals and key deliverables. Self-starter who is proactive and contributes innovative ideas to the team.
• Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Proven success in the key responsibilities outlined above.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Experience working remotely is not a requirement but is considered a plus.
