This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Identify and secure new sales opportunities by initiating outbound cold calls, crafting persuasive emails, leveraging social media platforms, and utilizing various communication channels.
• Promptly follow up with inbound leads to ensure that no opportunity is overlooked, demonstrating attentiveness and professionalism in every interaction.
• Employ professional communication skills to create a strong first impression on prospects. Develop a robust strategy to engage customers using email and call scripts.
• Utilize prospecting and research tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Seamless.ai to collaborate with assigned representatives in identifying potential opportunities; implement effective handoff plans and prepare for qualification calls and discovery meetings with targeted prospects.
• Oversee the scheduling and management of sales calls, emails, and other engagements.
• Keep track of leads and execute with agility by developing and following up on them.
• Collaborate effectively and work cooperatively with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Operations, etc.) across various initiatives.
• Strategize with the team to innovate and enhance the overall sales development process.
• Stay informed and up to date with product and service information. Maintain a thorough understanding of the products to address potential questions from customers.
• Set, monitor, and strive to exceed sales goals, ensuring consistent progress toward achieving targets.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in a Sales Development role.
• At least 6 months of experience in the information security, cybersecurity, or SaaS industry.
• A university degree or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with online privacy, security standards, and product compliance (e.g., internet of secure things).
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.).
• Experience in partnership development, including identifying partners and structuring and discussing agreements.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills, including an entrepreneurial and creative approach, persistence, attention to detail, and strong collaboration instincts.
• Proficiency with software tools such as Outreach.io, Zoominfo, and Salesforce CRM.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
