This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Efficiently oversee the incoming lead flow.
• Engage in high-level discovery discussions within targeted accounts.
• Achieve or surpass Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume goals sourced by SDR.
• Collaborate with team members to create targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging aimed at generating opportunities.
• Leverage business and industry insights to research accounts, pinpoint key players, spark interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts.
• Ensure a variety of engagement methods (call, email, social media, etc.) are utilized for all leads within your assigned territory through Outreach.io.
• Manage, monitor, and report on all activities and outcomes using Salesforce.
• Contribute to documenting all processes in the GitLab handbook and make updates as necessary with your Sales Development Manager.
• Serve as a mentor for new SDR recruits, assisting them in navigating their key accounts.
• Positive and dynamic phone communication skills, exceptional listening abilities, and strong writing proficiency.
• A self-motivated individual with a history of credible and successful achievements.

• Understanding of business processes, roles, and organizational structures.
• A determined personality with a strong desire to grow and succeed.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to GitLab’s journey.
• Proficient in Salesforce usage.
• Previous experience in the tech industry or in sales development, marketing, and/or sales is advantageous.
• Willingness to advance professionally, supported by a top-tier onboarding program, business-wide support, and eligibility for promotion to an outbound role after 12 months of successful performance as an SDR.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required, as it is our company’s language.
