This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic cold outreach, which includes tailored email campaigns and multi-touch sequences.
• Evaluate inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and intent, then arrange and participate in discovery and introductory meetings with our Chief Revenue Officer and team.
• Attend and engage in industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to create a sales pipeline and enhance brand visibility.
• Keep precise and current records of all prospect activities, pipeline status, and communications by following customer relationship management best practices.
• Work in collaboration with Marketing to enhance messaging, optimize outreach sequences, and provide insights from prospect discussions.
• Consistently achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly goals for outreach activities, qualified opportunities generated, and meetings scheduled.
• Remain informed about trends in the tech industry and startups, the competitive landscape among venture-backed companies, and developments in sales tools and products to engage prospects effectively and credibly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an SDR, BDR, or equivalent outbound sales position within a SaaS or professional services organization.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding pipeline generation objectives.
• Experience in managing prospect data and activities within a CRM system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive and succinct outreach messages.
• Comfortable attending and representing the company at in-person industry events, often outside of regular business hours.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of effectively managing time in a dynamic work environment.
• Knowledge of sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo).
