This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Generate new business opportunities through both inbound and outbound prospecting activities, utilizing email, phone, social media, events, and campaigns.
• Identify, research, and qualify potential clients by understanding their needs, challenges, and willingness to engage with the sales process.
• Develop and implement outreach sequences, including personalized email campaigns and cold-calling to effectively map and penetrate target accounts.
• Engage with existing customers as necessary to uncover cross-sell or expansion opportunities within a specific segment or product, as relevant to the team.
• Educate and nurture leads to help them progress toward a qualified meeting or the next step in their buying journey.
• Keep accurate and current lead and activity data in CRM and sales engagement tools.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure a seamless and effective transition of qualified opportunities.
• Work alongside Sales, Marketing, and other teams to continuously enhance lead-generation processes, messaging, and workflow improvements.
• Meet or surpass monthly and quarterly goals for qualified meetings, Sales Qualified Opportunities, and pipeline contributions.
• Take part in ongoing training, coaching, and skill development.
• Experience in sales development, business development, or an outbound commercial role (experience level may vary based on team needs).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to engage prospects across various channels.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote-friendly work environment.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple priorities and outreach activities simultaneously.
• Proven history of achieving or exceeding activity and pipeline-generation targets.
• Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and independently sourcing solutions.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is advantageous.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong growth orientation; adaptable to changes in processes, products, or market focus.
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to create engaging outreach messages and campaign sequences.
• Experience in HR tech, fintech, or high-growth startup environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
