This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivates, nurtures, and maintains customer relationships and success for both existing and newly established transactional/non-contract accounts.
• Engages in daily activities involving 50-75 calls to prospective clients, which encompass initial outreach and ongoing strategic targeting of these accounts to onboard them as new clients.
• Reaches out to customers via telephone, email, and social media to provide insights and establish oneself as a resource and expert in investor relations, financial reporting, public relations, marketing, and corporate communications sectors.
• Handles incoming emails and phone inquiries from potential clients, addressing pricing, billing/collection inquiries, general product information, and other related questions.
• Develops an in-depth understanding of the industry, our offerings, and those of our competitors.
• Clearly articulates the value proposition and ROI of Business Wire products and services.
• Keeps precise records of all sales activities, including calls, meetings, opportunities, emails, and social outreach in Salesforce CRM.
• Optimizes results by catering to various buyers within an organization while systematically resolving conflicting needs of different buyer influencers.
• Collaborates effectively in a team environment to reach collective goals.
• Conducts research on prospects and identifies key stakeholders to generate interest and build rapport.
• Manages expectations and addresses objections proficiently.
• Strong interpersonal abilities with the capacity to foster relationships with clients at various organizational levels, including executive/C-level.
• Experience in B2B prospecting.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in presentation skills.
• Exceptional time management abilities, showcasing the capacity to handle multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail.
• Resilience, persistence, and the capability to effectively overcome objections are essential.
• Self-motivated, organized, and ambitious with a track record of consistently meeting daily and monthly targets.
• Preferred understanding and ability to communicate effectively with professionals in investor relations, financial reporting, public relations, marketing, and corporate communications.
• A BA/BS degree or an international equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com and HubSpot is preferred.
