This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +8 more states.
• Your primary responsibility is to develop a pipeline and arrange qualified meetings for the Bettercomp sales team while continuously enhancing the efficiency of these processes as our approach evolves.
• Generate pipeline within your territory through proactive outbound prospecting that reliably leads to qualified meetings.
• Primarily engage in outbound activities (~90%) while remaining adept at managing inbound qualifications as they arise.
• Quickly adapt to new campaigns, initiatives, and target segments as they are launched — you will be expected to modify messaging and workflows on short notice rather than merely following a fixed script.
• Utilize AI tools (Nooks, Claude, Gemini, and others as they are integrated) to improve efficiency in repetitive tasks, data mining, and list generation.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives on territory strategy, prioritization, and multi-threading methods to secure deals.
• Implement marketing campaigns and assist in refining them based on actual field performance.
• Become a confident and credible storyteller who can effectively communicate Bettercomp’s value to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
• Achieve or surpass assigned quotas and daily/weekly/monthly activity goals.
• Ensure disciplined and consistent follow-through on prospect engagement, opportunity qualification, and documentation within Salesforce.
• A minimum of 2 years of successful prospecting experience in the SaaS sector, involving both outbound and inbound strategies.
• A proven history of swiftly adapting to new campaigns, tools, and processes; viewing change as an opportunity for momentum rather than a source of friction.
• A sense of curiosity and comfort with experimenting using AI-assisted workflows (e.g., AI-personalized emails, conversation intelligence, data enrichment) to enhance productivity.
• Proficient in CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, Nooks, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Experience in cold outbound prospecting and territory-based sales approaches.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, complemented by a positive and energetic phone presence.
• Capability to quickly evaluate a company's needs and customize outreach and messaging for individual prospects.
• High integrity and a genuine commitment to supporting the growth of an early-stage business.
• Strong self-management skills in a remote work environment, ensuring regular and proactive communication with leadership and team members.
• Competitive compensation package that includes: Base salary range for this position (non-exempt): $45,000 - $60,000 annually (dependent on location & experience), alongside uncapped commission typically starting at $24,000 for target commissions in the first year.
