Sales Development Representative – AI Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Identify and engage potential B2B clients through outbound calls, email initiatives, LinkedIn networking, and other outreach methods.

• Create qualified meetings and sales prospects for Account Executives and senior sales personnel.

• Inform prospects about AI, cloud, and automation solutions while gaining insight into their business challenges.

• Conduct exploratory discussions to pinpoint client needs, pain points, and purchasing intentions.

• Keep precise records in the CRM and track pipeline activities diligently.

• Work in tandem with marketing and sales teams to enhance outreach tactics and boost conversion rates.

• Regularly achieve or surpass monthly KPIs related to outbound activities, meetings scheduled, and pipeline development.

• Remain updated on trends in the AI industry, cloud technologies, and competitor products.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative, Business Development, or outbound B2B sales position.

• Demonstrated success in selling AI solutions, cloud services, SaaS platforms, or enterprise technology products.

• Strong grasp of consultative sales techniques and lead qualification processes.

• Proficient in using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, or comparable tools.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable executing outbound cold calls and managing high-volume prospecting efforts.

• Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to oversee multiple prospects and follow-up activities.

• Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to operate independently in a remote setting.

• Experience selling to markets in the US, UK, or internationally is highly desirable.
