This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Perform outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to create qualified leads
• Identify and engage key decision-makers within targeted organizations
• Effectively convey the advantages of AI SaaS solutions to potential clients
• Assess inbound and outbound leads based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and buying intentions
• Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives
• Keep precise records of activities in CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
• Work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams to enhance outreach methods
• Regularly achieve or surpass monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for meetings booked and pipeline developed
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) in AI SaaS or highly technical SaaS sectors
• Demonstrated success in outbound sales and pipeline development
• Solid understanding of AI concepts and the capability to articulate technical value propositions
• Experience in selling to mid-market or enterprise clients is highly desirable
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent
• Exceptional communication and skills in handling objections
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and adept at remote work
• Background in utilizing sales tools like Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
