• Lead the acquisition of new business in Pennsylvania.
• Tasked with entering unexplored accounts and enhancing Abbott’s presence in the ID diagnostics sector.
• Identify and qualify competitive leads while managing a territory pipeline from lead generation to closure.
• Meet annual new business objectives across various product lines.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to create contract proposals and pricing strategies.
• Engage in a regular weekly communication schedule with the manager, which includes sharing field insights, coaching, strategic discussions, and problem-solving.
• Adhere to US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, along with other regulatory requirements, company policies, operational procedures, processes, and assigned tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 4 years of demonstrated success in relevant sales experience.
• Proven track record of successfully converting competitive leads from generation to closure.
• Experience as an individual contributor, showcasing problem-solving skills, complex selling, planning, and execution.
• Candidates must reside within the territory, ideally based in the Greater Philadelphia or Lehigh Valley area.
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory (4 days a week, with up to ~50% overnight travel).
