This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.
• Develop and implement efficient sales development strategies that can scale alongside our expanding team.
• Present a compelling business case for Carhoot through a consultative and value-focused sales approach.
• Achieve and surpass your sales targets by building relationships with key decision-makers within targeted individual and corporate accounts, ultimately aiming to secure new business and enhance overall client revenue.
• Identify, prioritize, and monitor progress toward key account metrics and annual quotas.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to align resources throughout the sales cycle.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage additional sales representatives to grow our team.
• Monitor sales figures and frequently report on overall performance success.
• Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
• Create estimated sales forecasts for both the short and long term.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales roles, particularly within high-growth startups or corporate environments in the region.
• A proven track record of consistently achieving sales goals across a large geographic territory with a focus on service offerings.
• Industry knowledge in sectors such as automotive, car dealerships, insurance, service organizations, or technology companies.
• Exceptional communication skills paired with a consultative approach to diagnosing problems and developing solutions.
• A strong passion for Carhoot and a determined drive to attract new customers for maximizing revenue.
• A proactive attitude and a strong work ethic, along with a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Strategic and creative thinking abilities that allow you to comprehend industry and customer trends and leverage those insights to achieve business results.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and creativity that foster your ability to build and expand business opportunities.
• A collaborative spirit, enabling you to work well with team members through the sharing of best practices.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM and automation tools.
• Experience in establishing a sales process and managing a highly effective team to implement it.
