This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead and cultivate a high-achieving team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).

• Recruit top talent within the industry and design development programs that foster career advancement to ensure talent engagement and excellence at Kong.

• Uphold operational discipline across all facets of the business to drive a reliable performance.

• Foster a positive and collaborative culture that motivates teamwork and promotes professional development.

• Achieve a successful equilibrium in a hybrid work environment.

• Establish a reporting and feedback mechanism with stakeholders regarding team performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), customer insights, obstacles, and pipeline forecasts.

• Collaborate with leaders across Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnership teams to design and implement a go-to-market strategy for pipeline generation.

• Demonstrate excellence in change management as the organization aims to meet crucial and ambitious revenue targets.

• Maintain a keen awareness of market trends and facilitate a feedback loop between Sales and other departments.

• Identify opportunities for innovation and act as a catalyst for positive transformation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the B2B SaaS sector.

• More than 1 year of experience in building and managing a high-performing Sales or Sales Development Organization within B2B SaaS.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to provide and receive feedback in a constructive manner.

• Experience in high-growth, dynamic startup settings, ideally with hybrid remote and in-office teams.

• Proven track record in building and leading high-performance sales teams focused on selling complex technical products.

• Subject matter expertise in developing pipeline programs and initiatives to boost revenue.
