This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Acts as the representative for the Company and its interests.
• Collaborates with the head of sales to identify and develop optimal channels and strategies for marketing.
• Creates a long-term development plan for Products or Segments.
• Proactively supports Regional, Distribution, and Product Sales teams in selling specific Products or targeting defined Segments.
• Provides ongoing education regarding sales products and applications.
• Identifies and nurtures key or strategic accounts.
• Partners with Sales and Marketing to strategically enhance the sales funnel.
• Meets overall sales performance targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Achieves designated sales margins.
• Engages in strategic planning regarding demonstrations and other resources.
• Monitors and communicates developments related to competitors and the market.
• Identifies opportunities and devises strategies to leverage them.
• Delivers sales forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Establishes rapport and provides support for sales regions and other essential groups within the organization.
• Assists with Sales and Marketing events.
• Regularly visits key customers, distributors, and the sales network.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferably mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics).
• 4-7 years of experience in Sales or Business Development (experience in CAD/CAM, metrology, or related fields is advantageous).
• 10 years of experience in a related industry (engineering, quality, metrology, inspection, machine tools).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
