This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage assigned business development opportunities independently from qualification to contract execution, acting as the primary client contact throughout the process.
• Collaborate with Sales Leads and client service teams to outline engagement scope, deliverables, staffing needs, resource assumptions, and implementation strategies for new, renewal, and expanded consulting projects.
• Create proposals, statements of work, pricing models, and other sales documentation to aid in client acquisition and account development.
• Assess proposed pricing structures to ensure they align with the firm's financial performance, profitability, utilization, and revenue goals.
• Facilitate internal approvals concerning proposals, pricing, staffing, contracts, and conflict-of-interest assessments.
• Track opportunity progress, address routine operational issues, and proactively drive next steps to ensure timely execution of client contracts.
• Ensure adherence to established sales, contracting, pricing, and approval protocols throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Engage in meetings with potential clients, discovery sessions, and sales discussions.
• Organize meeting materials and follow-up actions.
• Act as a liaison between potential clients, Sales Leads, and internal stakeholders during the sales and contracting phases.
• Assist in responding to client inquiries and requests during pursuit, proposal, and negotiation phases.
• Support contract negotiations by coordinating reviews of contractual terms and documenting requested changes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Sales Leads, and operational leadership to streamline contract reviews and resolve any issues.
• Ensure all necessary approvals, executed agreements, and supporting documents are completed and stored per firm requirements.
• Keep accurate opportunity records within CRM and sales pipeline systems.
• Monitor data quality and communicate any risks or delays that could affect sales performance or opportunity development.
• Participate in special projects and operational initiatives aimed at enhancing sales, contracting, and business development efficiency.
• Contribute to the creation of tools, templates, knowledge management resources, and process enhancements.
• Identify avenues for improving operational efficiency, standardization, and scalability within the sales and contracting functions.
• Coordinate with Marketing to assist in the execution of go-to-market strategies for the business line.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in sales operations, business development support, contract administration, project management, consulting operations, client services, or a similar professional services environment.
• Proven experience in supporting sales initiatives and managing opportunities through proposal development, pricing, contract negotiation, and execution processes is essential.
• Experience in developing staffing plans, resource models, pricing analyses, budgets, or financial models in support of consulting, professional services, or project-based engagements is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects, proposals, or business development activities while meeting established deadlines is required.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, finance, legal, and client service stakeholders is mandatory.
• Familiarity with supporting new business development efforts, account expansion initiatives, and client relationship management is preferred.
• Knowledge of contractual documents, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), business associate agreements (BAAs), professional services agreements, master services agreements, statements of work (SOWs), and related contract terms is beneficial.
• Experience in healthcare, managed care, Medicaid, public sector consulting, or professional services organizations is strongly preferred.
