This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of designing, administering, and continuously enhancing incentive compensation programs for both domestic and international sales teams, ensuring alignment with business goals, growth strategies, and desired seller behaviors.
• Create and propose compensation structures for various sales motions, including new business, renewals, retention, specialist roles, accelerators, and strategic initiatives, while assessing the effectiveness of plans and suggesting improvements based on performance trends and business priorities.
• Manage the complete commission operations process, including calculations, payouts, adjustments, disputes, exceptions, holdbacks, clawbacks, and governance.
• Develop scalable processes, controls, documentation standards, and audit practices to ensure that compensation programs are accurate, compliant, transparent, and operationally efficient.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Payroll, Legal, Revenue Operations, and Sales Operations to facilitate compensation planning, compliance needs, audits, and issue resolution.
• Create executive-level reporting and dashboards to evaluate compensation performance, plan effectiveness, seller outcomes/attainment, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Construct financial models, forecasts, accrual analyses, executive reporting, and performance dashboards that deliver insights into compensation effectiveness, seller attainment, compensation expenses, risks, and business trends.
• Serve as the business owner for the Incentive Compensation Management platform, leading its implementation, administration, optimization, automation, and alignment with changing business needs.
• Function as the primary compensation advisor to business and sales leadership, offering strategic counsel, resolving complex issues, and supporting executive decision-making across various business units.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in Incentive Compensation, Sales Compensation, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis, or similar fields.
• Proven experience in designing, administering, and governing intricate incentive compensation programs across diverse business units, sales organizations, and geographical regions.
• Proficient in Excel, including advanced financial modeling, commission calculations, large-scale spreadsheet management, and analysis of complex compensation scenarios.
• Experience managing compensation programs in spreadsheet-based environments and leading the transition to automated commission management platforms.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and incentive compensation platforms such as CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Varicent, Spiff, or similar solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and business partnership abilities, with a talent for balancing strategic planning and operational execution.
