
Sales Associate β Mainstream Food Channel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Collaborate with the VP, colleagues, brokers, and distributor network to create, implement, and advance our sales strategy focused on the Mainstream food channel.
β’ Meet budgeted revenue goals and team sales objectives while maximizing profitability.
β’ Oversee daily sales operations, including developing new accounts, nurturing existing relationships, and executing sales strategies set forth by the VP of Sales and Marketing.
β’ Establish and implement distribution goals and promotional plans that align with company standards.
β’ Cultivate strong and trustworthy relationships with current customers and channels through meetings, site visits, and other engagements to achieve sales targets established by the Company.
β’ Support the VP of Sales and Marketing in generating monthly reports and sales forecasts to evaluate current and potential market and sales trends.
β’ Promote collaboration across departments such as R&D, Production, Quality, and others to facilitate product development.
β’ Provide the R&D team with insights on various food trends to assist in developing new SKUs and enhancing existing recipes.
β’ Actively participate in weekly/monthly sensory tastings to deliver immediate feedback on product quality.
β’ Engage in national food shows to explore business opportunities with potential clients.
β’ Perform additional tasks as assigned.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is required.
β’ Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.
β’ At least 3 years of experience demonstrating leadership in a sales organization or business unit within the food industry.
β’ Familiarity with sales cycles related to different customer types, such as retailers, wholesalers, and food services.
β’ Prior experience in the mainstream market is preferred.
β’ Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned sales territory, both domestically and/or internationally as required.
β’ A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary.
β’ Proficient in Google Apps, MS Office Suite, and related tools.
