This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Reach out to customers to enhance product variety, introduce new items, and achieve sales/margin projections for the designated territory.
• Collaborate with Rep Groups to implement company strategies and meet sales forecasts.
• Take ownership of ROI related to customer spending to create more effective promotional plans.
• Broaden brand presence with new customers.
• Increase sales within assigned accounts while also developing new business opportunities.
• Provide consistent forecasting for accounts.
• Develop annual business plans for the territory and its customers.
• Establish plans with key accounts directly and in collaboration with external agencies.
• Implement appropriate pre-call planning, call strategies, and follow-up procedures after calls.
• Hold external agencies accountable for executing company strategic plans at the customer/field level.
• Oversee compensation plans and annual objectives for outside agencies.
• Support account growth through sales initiatives, effective customer communication, and follow-up activities.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with accounts and outside agencies.
• Ensure understanding of current terms and programs for specific customers, tradeshows, and special promotions.
• Organize and plan sales trips and travel arrangements to maximize face-to-face interactions with territory accounts, while efficiently managing travel budgets and time.
• Actively engage in sales meetings.
• Enhance knowledge of our products, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Establish competitive and profitable sales terms including pricing, delivery, and payment conditions.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager/CCO to implement sales strategies and programs tailored to customer needs and profitable growth.
• Assist in expanding sales with assigned accounts by recognizing opportunities and fostering new business development.
• Maintain precise sales records, account notes, and forecasts.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, industry advancements, and competitor actions.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance and Operations, to meet customer requirements and facilitate order fulfillment.
• Provide feedback on marketing materials, products, and packaging enhancements based on customer insights.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred; a suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 1-3 years of relevant sales experience or formal sales training is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen eye for detail.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 40-50% for customer visits, rep group meetings, trade shows, and training sessions.
