Sales Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary sales representative to meet sales objectives across North America.

• Attain a high level of technical knowledge regarding current and upcoming product lines (e.g., automated drilling and fastening tools, composites manufacturing, etc.).

• Generate leads and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers.

• Assess potential clients for their actual needs and capacity to acquire proposed solutions.

• Collaborate with clients throughout the entire sales journey.

• Take the lead in crafting sales proposals.

• Travel to client locations as necessary for sales discussions and proposal meetings, ensuring exceptional customer service.

• Conduct research to identify prospective future markets for both existing and new Broetje products.

• Discover potential derivative products and solutions to broaden our current offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering).

• Over 7 years of experience in a customer-facing role; the ideal candidate will have experience in the Aerospace sector.

• Relevant experience may include work in one or more of the following areas: Automated systems like machine tools, robotic cells, assembly fixtures, jigs, and tools.

• Experience in manufacturing applications involving thermoset or thermoplastic composite materials.

• Background in factory assembly or machine manufacturing.
