This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Develop and implement sales strategies: Create and execute annual Sales/Account Action plans to achieve your budget and fulfill company objectives.
• Drive new business opportunities and surpass sales targets: Ensure consistent performance through proactive prospecting, strategic account development, and disciplined pipeline management.
• Cultivate ESS Key Accounts: Maintain a long-term partnership mindset, deliver high-level service and support, anticipate customer needs, propose corrective actions as necessary, and negotiate broader commercial agreements.
• Establish strong relationships with customers, partners, and key decision-makers to encourage long-term business growth.
• Lead technical solution sales initiatives: Qualify opportunities/accounts on-site and remotely, collaborating with pre-sales teams to provide customized, competitive quotations.
• Assist other BUs' internal sales teams/channels with tailored account strategies, value propositions, and participation in key presentations and client meetings.
• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams, including Pre-sales, Project Management, Engineering, R&D, and Manufacturing, to provide solutions that satisfy customer needs.
• Keep track of market trends and competitor actions to anticipate changes, adapt strategies accordingly, and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage the sales pipeline and reporting by delivering accurate forecasts and utilizing CRM tools (Salesforce) for visibility and efficiency.
• Advocate for the Company’s brand and core values through professional representation, adherence to company policies, and consistent market engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electrical, power electronics, or power systems) or a related field, coupled with business acumen.
• A minimum of 7 years in Technical B2B Energy solution sales, ideally in Energy Storage Solutions, Power Generation Systems, Energy/Sustainability, Power Electronics, or Data Centers.
• Demonstrated success in managing Key Accounts and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• A robust network within the US BESS industry and/or the Data Center ecosystem.
• Strong technical expertise combined with advanced sales and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to navigate complex accounts and formulate strategic plans.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and structured sales methodologies.
• Excellent communication, planning, and analytical abilities with a client-centric approach.
• Outstanding negotiation and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Capability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to guide strategy.
• Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence at all organizational levels.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a client-centric focus.
• Must possess and maintain a valid passport for international travel.
