Sales Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate the entire sales proposal process, including the creation of quotations and commercial documentation.

• Assist Sales and Key Account Managers in formulating competitive and profitable bids.

• Create pricing models and conduct financial analyses to ensure favorable contribution margins.

• Offer innovative insights into bid strategy, scenario modeling, and commercial negotiations.

• Monitor and evaluate opportunity pipelines to enhance win rates and deal conversions.

• Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers to assess account performance, pipeline growth, and revenue increase.

• Prepare strategic reviews of accounts, dashboards, and presentations for executives.

• Examine customer purchasing patterns, contract performance, and margin developments.

• Assist in managing long-term framework agreements and multi-project negotiations with significant clients.

• Aid in identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within current accounts.

• Ensure the accuracy of sales data within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP tools.

• Produce regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards.

• Continuously enhance CRM reporting tools, data integrity, and automation processes.

• Analyze order intake, quotation activities, hit rates, and market segment performance within Italy.

• Provide senior management with dependable commercial insights for strategic decision-making.

• Work in close collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Product Management to guarantee competitive and feasible offers.

• Assist in the development of standardized proposal templates and bankability documentation.

• Partner with Marketing on customer presentations and localized value proposition materials.

• Ensure smooth communication among sales teams and internal departments to surpass customer expectations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline (MBA is an advantage).

• Over 3 years of experience in sales analysis, commercial finance, business development, or program management.

• A strong focus and proven experience in supporting Sales and/or Key Account Management.

• Proficient in advanced financial modeling and Excel.

• Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and ERP tools.

• A strong analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment.

• Required: Native Italian and VERY FLUENT English (C1/C2 level, both written and spoken).

• Experience in solar or renewable energy sectors is a plus.

• Capability to translate complex data into straightforward commercial recommendations.
