Sales Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Generate a substantial number of leads through direct cold calling initiatives, referrals from third parties (such as banks and insurance brokers), trade associations, and various other channels.

• Employ consultative sales strategies to oversee the complete sales process, which includes understanding the business needs of prospects, obtaining and submitting comprehensive applications, identifying key accounts, and converting applications into policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams in Commercial, Risk, and Customer Experience to deliver optimal product offerings to both prospective and existing clients.

• Actively cultivate and broaden a network that goes beyond merely relying on banks or brokers, with a strong emphasis on enhancing connections through client referrals and personal relationships.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of product features, the competitive landscape, and market trends.

• Negotiate and finalize intricate deals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in business management, finance, or a related field is highly preferred.

• 2-4 years of experience in business-to-business sales.

• A demonstrated record of success in similar positions.

• Capability to overcome objections and effectively persuade, motivate, and influence internal stakeholders.

• Strong negotiation abilities.

• Resilience and the capacity to excel in high-performance sales environments.

• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.

• Understanding of business financials and fundamental credit principles.

• Capability to obtain and maintain Property & Casualty Insurance within the first 60 days of employment.

• Seeking candidates with a foundational awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies, including (Generative) Artificial Intelligence or GenAI, AI, Data Analysis, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT.
