
Sales Account Manager – Die & Mold

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Provide direct support to Die & Mold clients and the sales team in order to meet revenue objectives.
• Address specific inquiries from clients related to die design engineers, die maintenance, and purchasing, assisting in the selection of appropriate MISUMI components.
• As an account representative, actively listen to and address complaints and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Regularly report on account forecasting, opportunity funnel status, progress, and activities.
• Conduct visits to target accounts to engage in sales research, pipeline activity, and identify opportunities.
• Implement new sales strategies to boost sales volume at target accounts.
• Potentially recommend product or service enhancements to elevate customer satisfaction and sales opportunities, including new product development.
• Deliver professional presentations on products and services to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Anticipate the types of components under consideration for purchase and the projected dollar volume, along with strategies to capture competitor revenue.
• Gather information on competitors and automotive project insights.
• Travel is anticipated to be 60% within the U.S., primarily in the Midwest region.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of industrial sales experience is required, preferably in metal press components within the automotive sector and/or metal stamping equipment.
• Previous sales experience with tool or die manufacturing companies or in metal stamping is preferred.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a proven track record of budgetary success.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Office; knowledge of Tableau is preferred.
• Capability to utilize CRM software throughout the sales cycle and opportunity funnel, especially Salesforce.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
