This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Accountable for creating a sales strategy and pipeline to promote the professional services offered by Veregy and its subsidiaries.
• Meet or exceed established sales targets annually.
• Develop and manage market strategies aimed at securing and closing new business opportunities, including conducting competitive analysis and formulating vertical and horizontal business development strategies.
• Generate a robust pipeline that meets or surpasses set sales revenue goals for each fiscal year.
• Evaluate the potential of specific clients and project opportunities while adapting to evolving market conditions.
• Work autonomously and collaboratively within the sales team to discover new project opportunities.
• Convey a client-centric message related to the client's business, our value proposition, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that planning, presentations, and sales deliverables are completed within required timelines.
• Leverage the SalesForce CRM platform and other tools to monitor and document sales opportunities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle and facilitate transitions to other team members as necessary.
• Provide assistance to customers regarding projects, financing, and contracting matters.
• Create presentations, accurate estimates, high-quality proposals, and fee estimates with assistance from technical and marketing teams.
• Participate in market organizations and conferences to enhance brand visibility and explore business opportunities.
• Travel to engage with clients or potential clients; partake in social activities to network with clients and prospects (e.g., dinners, outings, etc.).
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Proven expertise in fulfilling all responsibilities associated with an account manager role.
• Demonstrated history of achieving sales of at least $10M per year.
• Familiarity with facility systems, large project sales processes, and funding alternatives.
• Capability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, contracts, proposals, and estimates.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with a proven capacity to articulate technical products clearly.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the technical products to be sold.
• Outstanding sales and customer service skills, along with proven negotiation capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Established ability to maintain and enhance relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in effectively presenting information and addressing client inquiries.
• Knowledge and experience within the ESCO industry (Energy Services).
• Experience in the Educational market (K-12 & Higher Education) and Municipal sectors.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and/or similar software.
• A valid driver’s license.
