This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Introduce and position new products with clients.
• Implement business strategies and foster sales for sustainable growth.
• Collaborate directly with clients and engage cross-functionally with Business Management, Plant Operations, and other departments.
• Build and nurture customer relationships.
• Engage daily with customers concerning pricing, product availability, and order management.
• Meet budgeted sales targets of consumer goods for key clients.
• Develop and attain maximum sales volume in line with account sales forecasts.
• Sustain business with existing accounts to promote ongoing growth.
• Stay informed about product management, marketing, and R&D initiatives to boost sales and meet customer needs.
• Convey product availability, logistics details, product specifications, and pricing information.
• Ensure timely and fair resolution of customer complaints or issues.
• Travel as necessary, potentially up to 80% of the time.
• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year institution and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a suitable combination of education and experience, is required.
• Understanding of the food industry or dynamics of retail channels.
• Experience in customer-oriented and data-driven selling techniques.
• Proficient in utilizing IRI, Nielsen, and Perishable Group data.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Skills in organizational planning and adaptability.
• Ability to forge strong working relationships and cultivate a positive work atmosphere.
• Competence in thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Capable of sitting for prolonged periods.
• Able to occasionally lift weights up to 25 lbs.
• Frequently able to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Possess close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Willingness to travel as required.
