This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Comprehend the company’s strategy and objectives, and strive to enhance profitability in the assigned regions or accounts.
• Assume full responsibility for the entire sales process.
• Recognize opportunities, orchestrate ideas, propose solutions, and analyze outcomes.
• Lead the initiative in developing new accounts.
• Continue to foster key relationships within the current customer base.
• Collaborate with inside sales and technical teams to pinpoint and expand additional opportunities within existing accounts.
• Contribute to and take accountability for achieving the territory sales plan.
• Grasp the company’s value proposition, and accurately present products and capabilities to assigned customers.
• Maintain and be accountable for customer engagement and sales forecasting data for the designated customer base.
• Work together with other team members to collectively develop accounts within client sets that span geographical borders.
• Identify target accounts and consistently pursue opportunities for direct engagement.
• Create sales quotations and facilitate product sampling.
• Analyze and resolve issues as they emerge.
• Document meeting minutes, letters, contracts, and memos.
• Discover and generate opportunities for additional revenue and profit within established accounts, as well as for the development of new accounts.
• Assist in marketing events, such as trade shows.
• Provide insights to upper management regarding customer needs and requirements.
• Travel to meet and maintain customer relationships (40% - 50% of the time).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent sales experience in the mechanical, industrial, or electrical sectors.
• 2-3 years of sales experience with physical product components, demonstrating experience in supporting new product development coordination.
• Background in fiber optics is advantageous.
• Experience in direct sales, territory development, and new business acquisition.
• Willingness to travel 50% is mandatory.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Familiarity with Net Suite is a plus.
