Sales Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee all sales-related initiatives in Scandinavia & Germany.

• Achieve performance metrics against sales objectives to manage both top and bottom-line contributions within the Dairy category.

• Engage strategically with partner accounts and high-potential clients.

• Coordinate Pull & Push strategies with key stakeholders in Development, Marketing, and Business Development to ensure sustainable long-term growth.

• Provide a high-touch technical consulting experience to customers and prospects, setting us apart from competitors.

• Manage projects efficiently alongside development teams to optimize return on investments and create customized value-added solutions.

• Develop, oversee, and execute an opportunity pipeline with direct reports, aligning with business growth targets.

• Collaborate with category sales leaders at legacy Ingredion to foster maximum synergies and aligned account strategies for joint accounts.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science/Technology or a related technical field, or extensive practical experience with relevant exposure.

• In-depth technical knowledge of functional food ingredients, their interactions, food manufacturing processes, and recipe formulation.

• Significant experience and skills in Value Selling/Specialties or Technical Service/Sales roles.

• Strong market and customer-centric approach.

• Demonstrated success in delivering technical solutions across various countries and channels.

• Excellent negotiation skills and stakeholder management abilities.
