This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Promoting a range of scientific instruments, accessories, and upgrades to achieve or surpass sales goals.
• Strategic and tactical planning and execution for the sales territory.
• Consistent reporting on status and progress to the Sales Manager.
• Formulating and implementing strategies for sales growth.
• Managing a direct sales territory while collaborating with the sales applications team and field assistants.
• Engaging in prospecting activities to generate leads, qualifying those leads, visiting clients, and adhering to a defined sales process until the purchase order is secured.
• Delivering product presentations at conferences, seminars, workshops, and customer locations as needed.
• Cultivating a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and funding opportunities within the territory.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or another scientific discipline.
• Preferably knowledgeable in optical profilometry, Ellipsometry, and Reflectometry.
• Desired sales experience in a related field.
• Capability to grow and accept additional responsibilities.
• Up to 60% travel as necessary to support the role.
