This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Responsible for selling a range of our scientific instruments, accessories, and upgrades to achieve or surpass sales targets across all Business Units within your designated sales territory.
• Engage in strategic and tactical planning and execution for your sales territory.
• Provide regular updates on status and progress to the Sales Manager.
• Formulate and implement sales growth strategies.
• Manage a direct sales territory while collaborating with the sales applications team and field assistants.
• Conduct prospecting activities to generate leads, qualify prospects, visit customers, and adhere to a defined sales process leading to purchase orders.
• Deliver product presentations at conferences, seminars, workshops, and customer locations as necessary.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and funding opportunities within the territory.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, fostering collaborations with key clients.
• Provide feedback to the BNSM sales management regarding the development and implementation of sales strategies.
• Ensure regular and accurate sales forecasting through the CRM system.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or another scientific discipline.
• Preferred knowledge of optical profilometry, ellipsometry, and reflectometry.
• Desired sales experience in a related field.
• Capacity to grow and accept additional responsibilities.
• Up to 60% travel as necessary to fulfill the role's requirements.
