Sales Account Executive – ERP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Identify and engage with prospective customers via targeted outreach methods such as email, phone, and social media.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with contacts by providing relevant resources like webinar invitations, white papers, and blog articles, while understanding their stage in the buying process.

• Convert marketing leads into qualified sales opportunities by educating and challenging potential buyers.

• Collaborate with field sales representatives on outbound prospecting and competitive strategies to create new business opportunities, emphasizing ongoing skill development.

• Act as the primary contact for incoming calls and web inquiries, fostering strong connections with potential clients.

• Manage and nurture leads throughout the sales funnel, ensuring prompt and effective follow-up.

• Qualify leads to determine the optimal follow-up actions and close deals.

• Schedule and conduct introductory sales calls and demonstrations in partnership with the Sales Administrator.

• Consistently achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.

• Provide regular updates regarding lead status, sales progress, and pipeline management.

• Generate and disseminate reports on sales lead activity and performance.

• Identify and engage clients who may benefit from additional services or new modules, actively collaborating with HRP or ERP Consultants to align offerings with client goals.

• Seek new revenue opportunities aimed at meeting or exceeding retention targets while capturing additional commissions on upsells or new module implementations.

• Proactively contact relevant leadership, such as the Director of HR & Payroll Services, Division Manager, or Team Manager SAE, to request HRP or ERP Consultant support when necessary for account retention, renewals, or upsells.

• Integrate insights from HRP Consultants into client communications and leverage their expertise to enhance retention strategies and renewal negotiations.

• Lead all client-facing interactions, finalize renewal agreements, and secure upsells, ensuring a coordinated approach with HRP or ERP Consultants.

• Keep detailed client interaction records in HubSpot, documenting retention strategy discussions, potential upsell opportunities, and renewal status updates.

• Record actionable insights provided by HRP or ERP Consultants to strengthen client relationships and support retention and upsell efforts.

• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to establish connections with prospective customers.

• Maintain current knowledge of company products and services, including Integration & automation, ERP, HRP, Outsourcing services, and training.

• Present a professional appearance and maintain a work environment that reflects AWCape’s commitment to excellence.

• Drive retention initiatives by cultivating strong client relationships and achieving retention targets as outlined in the incentive structure.

• Ensure retention goals are met, with performance metrics linked to payouts from the retention incentive pool.

• Collaborate with HRP or ERP Consultants to strategize and enhance client retention and renewal success, securing renewal opportunities and exploring upsell potentials.

• Relationship Management: Show experience in managing accounts and relationships across multiple clients, with a strong grasp of maintaining and developing productive client connections.

• Proactive Sales Hunter: Display ambition and ownership of the sales pipeline by actively pursuing opportunities and building a robust network. Take the initiative to drive business growth by seeking new leads and connections rather than waiting for opportunities to come to you.

• Customer-Centric Approach: Build rapport with a demanding and high-caliber customer base, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

• **Qualifications:**

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, sales development, or a related field is required.

• An undergraduate degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; alternatively, 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• A proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

• Strong familiarity with sales technologies and tools (e.g., CRM, marketing automation).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

• Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

• **Preferred:**

• 2+ years of successful experience in mid-market software sales, demonstrating a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.

• Work can be conducted in either an open office setting or remotely, with the expectation of on-site travel based on business and management needs. This is a full-time position requiring the flexibility to maintain a regular work schedule.
