Safeguarding Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate safeguarding training, which includes in-person sessions, webinars, and Brainshark presentations to enhance safeguarding knowledge.

• Plan, execute, and summarize thorough safeguarding investigations that align with the Safeguarding Threshold.

• Assist managers in their preparations for ASV meetings.

• Participate in relevant external safeguarding meetings, such as ASV and strategy discussions.

• Coordinate with external agencies, including the police and LADO.

• Conduct collaborative critical analyses of safeguarding incidents to improve organizational learning.

• Carry out Safeguarding audit visits and triangulation visits that provide settings with clear insights and measurable actions.

• Utilize coaching skills to support DSLs in their decision-making processes.

• Accurately complete the Safeguarding data log in its entirety.

• Analyze Quality data, Regulatory data, and Safeguarding data to inform decision-making regarding resource allocation.

• Accountable for the cancellation of safeguarding training in exceptional circumstances and for categorizing incident thresholds to determine the necessary level of investigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of safeguarding legislation and requirements.

• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements.

• Familiarity with managing ER and HR practices.

• Proven experience in conducting complex investigations thoroughly.

• Training qualifications or experience in delivering training sessions.

• Coaching qualifications and/or experience in coaching methodologies.

• Qualification in Early Years/HR.
